 Give a meaningful gift that empowers a woman working her way out of poverty in rural Africa. Just $5 purchases a WMI holiday tribute post card. You can send cards to family, friends, teachers – all those you would like to remember in this holiday season. If you provide WMI the names of the people you would like to honor in this special way, we will include them in a Holiday Tribute Page linked on the front of the WMI web site.
The card features a wonderful picture of WMI borrowers celebrating their graduation to independent banking under the greeting: JOY TO THE WORLD. Text on the back describes the WMI loan program and alerts recipients that they are being honored with a donation. Ordering is easy
To order WMI Holiday Tribute Cards just follow these simple steps.
1. Click on the Donate tab on the WMI web site or on the link below and make your donation on line to WMI ($5 per card). http://www.wmionline.org/donate/donate.html
2. Email us your name and address and the names of people you would like to honor. Also let us know the amount of your donation and the number of tribute cards we should send you. wmicontact@gmail.com
3. The tribute post cards will be sent to you the next business day. There is room on the back to address them to the people you would like to send them to.
Thank you so much for supporting WMI this holiday season. We appreciate your donation and your help in getting the word out to your friends and family about the loan program that is giving rural women in east Africa the tools they need to work their way out of poverty.
Toy Drive
Dear Friends and Family:
Last year, my sister, Devon held a holiday toy drive for Sinai Hospital's International Center for Limb Lengthening (ICLL), It was such a success, and again, many thanks to you all, that the hospital has asked our family to take on the holiday toy drive again! This year, I am very excited to be spearheading the toy drive for my confirmation project.
I want to raise enough toys, accessories, gifts, and gift cards to give a present to each and every child, at Baltimore's Sinai Hospital ICLL's annual Holiday Party in Late December! Many patients come from impoverished areas and it's their only celebration.
Please join me in making a difference in their lives by donating a new unwrapped toy, book, clothes, or gift card to these children ranging from 3 months to 18 years old. I am happy to take regifted presents too!
You may drop the gifts in our covered alcove in front of my home at 7525 Royal Dominion Drive, Bethesda, 20817 or call my mom, Brenda @ 301-455-3646 and we will come to pick them up. The Deadline is December 15th as we have to take them up to the hospital so they may sort and assign all the gifts!

Just a few key points as reminders:
1. NEW Toys, Stuffed Animals, Games, etc... (No used gifts during this drive please)
2. Age range is 3 months to 18 years. Gift Cards are perfect for older children -- Target & Walmart are great!
3. Deadline is December 14th
4. Deliver to 7525 Royal Dominion Drive, Bethesda, MD 20817 --- if just dropping, please put your name on the bag so we know who to thank and have the hospital send you a gift receipt for your taxes.
5. For pick-up call 301-455-3646 and my Mom will come pick them up.
6. Unwrapped is best but if you want to wrap them, please label what they are.
7. Black Friday is coming up, please put a gift on your shopping list for Sinai Hospital.

Washington Hebrew Congregation Sisterhood presents its 25th annual Holiday Boutique & Silent Auction Sunday, December 4 thru Tuesday, December 6th at the Julia Bindeman Suburban Center, 11810 Falls Road, Potomac, MD (at Tuckerman Lane). Over 50 vendors, amazing auction items, fabulous cafe with take home baked goods. Find all your holiday gifts here! 20% of every sale goes to charities such as: Save the Children, Doctors without Borders, Suited for Change, Promise for Prom, Susan G. Komen Race for the Cure, MADD.
Sunday December 4 from 10am-6pm (champagne toast at 11:00),
