About the Exhibit

"Imagine 13,056 pints of milk stretching down a
suburban street, a 50-foot (15-meter) wall of
appliances, and a river of 28,433 rubber ducks
representing showers, each group showing one person's
lifetime usage. These are just some of the staggering
images [at the exhibition]...

Think about what you use, consume, and discard in
an average lifetime. Calculate this for every American
and then for every person on Earth. Humans have left
their mark on 83 percent of Earth's surface. What can
we do to reduce our environmental impact?
