IONA is a nonprofit community organization that helps seniors live with dignity and independence by providing a range of services and programs for them and their families.
Our Role
We will be helping with and participating in the Weekend Home-Delivered Meals program that each week serves about 100 homebound seniors in the Northwest DC area. Volunteers work in teams of two or more and needs a car. Each team gets a route sheet to deliver meals to between 7-12 senior citizens. We hope to provide 3 teams.
